Ali Hamza

About Me

I am Ali Hamza, an AI Engineer I'm passionate about data science, machine learning and AI, with hands-on experience in computer vision, speech recognition, deep learning, and NLP. I've built models for speech translation, phoneme identification, and image classification. One of my key projects, TransLynx, uses deep learning to translate English speech into Urdu. During my NLP studies at UMT, I worked with Hugging Face to gain experience with transformers and pre-trained language models. I also explored OpenAI’s models, working with embeddings and JSON data to enhance NLP applications. Additionally, I completed a Coursera course on AWS, learning about cloud-based AI solutions. I have expertise in fine-tuning large language models (LLMs), including quantization, LoRA, QLoRA, and efficient transfer learning for NLP. I enjoy solving real-world problems with AI and look forward to working on innovative machine learning projects.
