About Me
My name is Amna Ghaffar, and I am currently in my 4th semester at the University of Lahore. Studying at UOL has been a really important part of my academic journey so far. University life has taught me how to manage time, work on team projects, take responsibility for my learning, and think more critically about the subjects I study. Academically, I am curious and consistent. I enjoy subjects that challenge me to understand concepts deeply instead of just memorizing them. The 4th semester has pushed me to become more independent with research, presentations, and assignments. I have also learned the value of asking questions and helping my classmates, because explaining something to others is often the best way to understand it yourself. Beyond my degree, I have a strong interest in teaching. I believe education becomes powerful when it is simple, patient, and relatable. That is why I want to teach online students during my summer vacations. Online teaching will give me the chance to share what I have learned, practice communication skills, and make learning less stressful for students who may be struggling. I plan to keep my classes interactive, with examples, practice questions, and regular feedback so students feel supported. In my free time, I like reading, improving my writing, and learning new digital skills that can help me teach better online. My goal for the summer is to build confidence as an educator while also helping students achieve their goals.
