About Me
I'm someone who's naturally curious and enjoys getting to the bottom of how things work, which is probably why I studied psychology, I like understanding how people think and learn. I'm patient, a good listener, and I genuinely enjoy explaining things in ways that make sense to different kinds of people. I'd call myself adaptable too, I'm comfortable jumping into new subjects and figuring out the best way to approach them.
Teaching Experience
While I don't have any formal prior teaching experience, I've informally tutored friends and classmates before exams, breaking down difficult topics and helping them understand concepts they were struggling with. That experience showed me I genuinely enjoy teaching and that I'm good at explaining things clearly. I'm really eager to build on that in a proper tutoring role and gain real, structured experience.
I've been teaching a variety of subjects for 4 years now, with a focus primarily on English writing and communication skills as well as music theory.
