About Me

I have done my Master in Biosciences from International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan with specialization in Biotechnology and Microbiology with gold medal and distinction. I just recently completed my Ph.D in Biosciences at Sulaiman bin Abdullah Aba Al-Khail Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Sciences (SA-CIRBS), International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan in Dec 2025. During my Ph.D, I worked on several interdisciplinary projects including: Understanding drug resistance in clinical isolates of Gram-negative bacteria and alternative treatment approaches against Multidrug resistance (MDR). I have had the privilege to directly supervise up to 10 MS level students during my Ph.D studies. I have published six articles in international peer reviewed journals. I have also served as a reviewer for prestigious journals i.e. Scientific reports. I also have several years of teaching experience at Inter and Undergraduate level at both national and international level.
