About Me
I am an IELTS specialist and academic mentor dedicated to helping students secure competitive band scores for international admissions and immigration. Having scored an overall 8.0 Band with at least a 7.0 in every individual module through independent self-study, I have an in-depth understanding of the exact marking criteria, common traps, and roadmaps required to excel. My approach is structured, practical, and focused on transforming foundational language skills into high-band exam performance.
Teaching Experience
I have extensive experience mentoring, advising, and coaching students preparing for international standardized tests, higher education admissions, and scholarship applications. My teaching background spans both digital and traditional classroom environments; I have successfully guided students through rigorous IELTS preparation both online and in-person at an academy. My teaching covers all four IELTS modules—Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking—tailored from foundational to advanced levels. My methodology focuses on diagnostic assessments, line-by-line essay feedback (Task 1 and Task 2), targeted lexical upgrading, and mock speaking interviews with real-time scoring. Having self-taught my way to top scores, I design clear, actionable frameworks that help students in any learning environment overcome persistent score plateaus (such as the 6.5 writing trap) and achieve their target scores efficiently.
I've been teaching a variety of subjects for 4 years now, with a focus primarily on English writing and communication skills as well as music theory.
