About Me
Heyya! I'm a biotech student from DUHS, who genuinely loves both science and language. On one hand, I'm deep into biology, immunology, and molecular biology for my degree, and on the other, I have been a lifelong reader. I love writing pieces of prose in my free time, so words are kind of my thing too. I love taking complicated ideas and making them feel simple and approachable, because I remember exactly how overwhelming jargon can feel when you're learning something new. I'm patient, easy to talk to, and I genuinely enjoy those "OHHHH" moments with people.
Teaching Experience
I haven't tutored in a formal setting yet, but honestly, I've kind of been doing it informally for years! I'm usually the friend everyone comes to before an exam, and I love walking people through tricky concepts, making them simple study notes, and quizzing them until things click. On the English side, I've helped friends untangle essays, fix up their grammar, and organize their thoughts when they're stuck. I'd love to bring that same warm, no-judgy energy to tutoring more officially!
I've been teaching a variety of subjects for 4 years now, with a focus primarily on English writing and communication skills as well as music theory.
