About Me
Javeria Abdul Qadir is an Emerging Islamic fine artist based in karachi, Pakistan. She graduated from department of visual studies, University of karachi in 2024. She came across Islamic arts while scrolling through YouTube. A new perspective beyond science studies arose in her imagination. After that her curious self started to chase Islamic arts. In her perspective Islamic art is the cultural art of every muslim, which must owned, teach and practice. Her artwork became a part of many local art exhibitions. She explores Islamic art disciplines artistically composed with diverse materials. Javeria eagerly delve into both traditional and contemporary approaches. She's more into Islamic Geometry but enthusiastically learning each one of the disciplines. She's passionately enlightening Islamic art education through creative engagement.Her curiosity is not limited to arts but its historical significance, philosophical and social imapct.
Teaching Experience
As an emerging artist, I have participated in many local exhibitions. Awarded distinction for my Thesis(final year) artwork. I am eagerly learning new art mediums. I have a good command of Islamic art disciplines, still life sketching, portfolio making, time management and communication skills. Reading and learning about History, philosophy and sociology are my sub interests.
I've been teaching a variety of subjects for 4 years now, with a focus primarily on English writing and communication skills as well as music theory.
