Mahvish Baber with more than 15 years of teaching . Sociology(2251/0495) to O levels & A levels(9699). Currently teaching in most renowned schools of Lahore : LGS, SICAS ,NORDIC. Developed & designed Sociology topicals for the students. Have also designed and compiled revision booklet containing knowledge organisers for the ease in Exam preparation. Excellent O level results shown. Student centered class with smooth exchange of Sociological knowledge. Students are enabled to answer the question in a smarter way as established by the Cambridge . In addition to Sociology have experience of teaching Islamiyat (2058) to O level.

okay so on a serious note i feel like theres this preconceived thought about sociology as a subject that its very easy and you barely have to study for. but as a student i soon realised that socio is way more technical than it seems. it requires an in-depth understanding of major views especially the marxist view which also involves economical ideas and societal views right? so i feel like you made the difficult part of sociology more easy, the inside jokes that we created to remember stuff made my retaining capability better which i believe otherwise was not. the class structure was overall more inclined towards active learning rather than just passive reading off of the book so that was also a plus point and the webs and structural diagrams that we made to link between different key ideas made it so much easier to actually solve my paper. i found myself using some concepts from hidden curriculum and education in my family wala question which helped me develop my points. so all in all, so grateful to have u as a teacher and a mentor more like mother.

just so you know already it was lovely being your student I loved and enjoyed every bit of it, it was always a very motherly feeling being around you and your class was one of the most awaited one for me I love you so much and i will always remember you an amazing teacher and an extra extra ordinary human being♥️

aoa miss, i hope you’re doing well. we had our high achiever’s honour roll today. honestly, i never thought i could get an A* in sociology out of all the subjects but you were literally the best teacher. there were times i hated socio when i had to write all the answers because you wouldn’t spare us but it all paid off. thank you so much for always being there for us and explaining everything so simply.
