About Me

An ACCA-qualified accounting professional and educator specializing in teaching ACCA Accounting and Finance, with a practical, numbers-focused approach that makes difficult concepts simple for students.” I completed my ACCA in 2014 and also hold an M.Com degree, which has given me a strong academic and professional foundation in accounting, finance, and business-related subjects. My passion for tutoring comes from my own interest in numbers, calculations, and problem-solving. I particularly enjoy subjects where students need to understand concepts and then apply them to numerical questions. I believe accounting should not be taught merely by memorizing rules and formats; students should understand the logic behind every transaction and calculation. My teaching approach therefore focuses on breaking complicated topics into smaller, easy-to-understand steps. I have experience in teaching and educational environments, including teaching at Beaconhouse, and I am now particularly interested in developing my career as an ACCA lecturer and accounting tutor. I am comfortable explaining accounting concepts, solving questions step by step, identifying students’ weaknesses, and helping them build confidence before attempting examination questions. My professional accounting experience also allows me to connect academic concepts with real-world business situations. I have worked in an accounts-related role where I assisted the Accounts Manager and dealt with areas such as monitoring delayed payments and preparing information for management. This practical exposure helps me to grow.

Teaching Experience

I have developed my tutoring and teaching experience through both academic and professional exposure. As an ACCA-qualified professional with an M.Com background, I have a strong foundation in accounting, finance, and business subjects, which I can effectively transfer to students through structured teaching. I have also had teaching experience at Beaconhouse, where I gained practical exposure to working with students, explaining concepts, answering questions, and adapting explanations according to students’ understanding levels. This experience helped me realize that I enjoy teaching and communicating academic concepts.
