About Me

I'm Maryam — a primary school teacher with 12 years of experience and a background in dentistry. I have a fun-loving, caring, and welcoming personality, and my heart has always been in the classroom with students, making learning feel like an adventure and not a chore. I love to paint, swim, and play tennis, and I bring that same energy and creativity into every lesson.

Teaching Experience

I have been teaching for the last 12 years at some of the most reputable schools in Karachi. I have taught students in grades 2 through 5 and can teach English, Math, and Science using Cambridge Primary, International Baccalaureate (IB) PYP, British National Curriculum (Key Stages 1–2), Pakistan National Curriculum, and any school-specific or customized curriculum. My experience includes phonics instruction, reading comprehension, creative writing, foundational math concepts, and homework assistance. I am skilled at keeping young learners engaged through interactive activities, songs, and real-world connections. I am available for online tutoring.
