About Me

I'm Mehr Un Nisa, a certified Dietitian/Nutritionist from Rawalpindi, currently doing my MPhil in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. I hold a Doctor of Diet and Nutrition Sciences degree from The University of Lahore. Teaching is something I truly enjoy, and I love explaining science in a simple, clear way so students understand it instead of just memorizing it. I taught science at Rising Pakistan School, Rawalpindi, from 2021 to 2024, and also worked as Science Course Coordinator. I planned and managed science courses and organized classroom and extracurricular activities that kept students interested. This helped reduce the number of failing students and improved attendance. I also received certificates of promotion and acknowledgment for my dedication to improving students' academic performance. My teaching style is patient and step by step. I break difficult topics into small parts, use everyday examples, and connect lessons to real life, such as food, health and the human body. I encourage students to ask questions freely, because I believe confident students learn best. I also check understanding regularly and adjust my pace to each student's level. I have completed training on supporting students with learning difficulties, ADHD and autism in school (University of Colorado), which helps me stay understanding and flexible with different learners. My goal as a tutor is to help every student feel capable in science, improve their grades, and enjoy learning. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading novels and strength training.
