About Me

My name is Momina, and I am a dedicated educator with a strong academic foundation in English language, literature, and linguistics. I hold a graduation degree in English Language and Literature, which gave me a deep appreciation for literary analysis, critical thinking, and effective communication. Building on that foundation, I pursued an MS in Linguistics and have successfully completed all coursework. This advanced study has equipped me with a thorough understanding of language structure, second language acquisition, phonetics, syntax, and discourse analysis. I am passionate about creating engaging, student-centered learning environments where learners feel confident to express themselves and grow. My teaching experience spans 2 to 3 years, primarily with students from grades 5 to 8. I specialize in English but also have a strong command of basic-level Urdu, General Knowledge, and Science, which allows me to support students across subjects and make interdisciplinary connections. I believe teaching is more than delivering content. It is about connecting learning to real-world examples, fostering curiosity, and building the skills students need beyond the classroom. I am skilled at lesson planning, scaffolding complex concepts, assessing progress constructively, and adapting my methods to suit diverse learning styles, whether students are visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learners. Currently, I am seeking teaching opportunities that allow me to showcase the best of my skills and contribute meaningfully to a school or learning community. I am most available in the evenings. I bring enthusiasm, subject expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement to every class I teach.
