Muhammad Sohail
About Me
My name is Sohail, and I am based in Quetta, Pakistan. I studied Mechanical Engineering at UET Taxila and I am a registered professional engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council. Today I work as a data scientist and AI engineer, where math is part of my daily work. I started teaching because I noticed that most students do not struggle with math itself. They struggle because nobody explained why a method works. Once that connection is made, the subject becomes much easier and the fear goes away. I have taught school students from grade 7 to grade 12, and I also mentor learners one on one in Python and machine learning. Because of this, I am patient with beginners and comfortable explaining the same idea in several different ways until it clicks. My goal is simple. I want you to leave each lesson understanding something you did not understand before.
Teaching Experience
I have 1.5 years of online tutoring experience, teaching different students one on one over Zoom. This includes 7 months of online teaching for K12 students at a school in New Jersey, where I taught from grade 7 to grade 12. Working with students across different schools and levels has taught me to adjust my pace and explanations to each learner. My lessons use clear examples, guided practice and regular feedback, so students understand each topic instead of memorizing it. I am comfortable with online tools, screen sharing and digital whiteboards, which keeps remote lessons as clear as sitting side by side.
