About Me

Assalamualaikum, My name is Muhammad Usman, and I am a qualified Chartered Accountant currently working at BDO Ebrahim & Co., a member firm of BDO International. My professional experience includes working on audit engagements for clients across a wide range of industries, including Oil & Gas, Aviation, Manufacturing, Textile, Construction, Food, Media, Real Estate, and Healthcare. My professional experience has given me a strong understanding of accounting, auditing, taxation, law, financial reporting, and the practical application of concepts that students often find challenging to understand through textbooks alone. As a tutor, my aim is not only to help students prepare for their exams, but also to help them understand concepts and develop the ability to apply them in practical situations. I believe that my professional qualification and hands-on experience can provide students with a different perspective and help bridge the gap between theory and real-world practice. I look forward to helping students strengthen their concepts, build confidence, and achieve their academic and professional goals.

Teaching Experience

Alongside my professional responsibilities, I have regularly mentored and trained junior team members, helping them understand accounting and auditing concepts and apply them in practical situations. I have provided guidance on IFRS/ISA requirements, audit procedures, substantive testing, and internal controls, while reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback. This experience has strengthened my ability to break down complex concepts, explain them clearly, and guide learners according to their level of understanding.
