About Me

Hi! I'm Muhammad Tahir, a 20-year-old Economics and Data Science student at LUMS with over 800 hours of online teaching experience. I specialize in Economics and Accounting, while also teaching Mathematics to O Level students. I earned A*s in A Level Economics and Accounting, and my passion for Economics led me to receive a Higher Distinction in the World Economics Cup. My teaching philosophy is simple: if a student truly understands a concept, memorization becomes easy. Instead of overwhelming students with definitions and formulas, I break complex topics into simple, logical steps and use real-life examples, sports, games, and humor to make lessons engaging and memorable. My aim is to create a classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions and enjoy learning, while maintaining high academic standards. Every lesson is tailored to the individual student. Together, we'll identify your strengths and weaknesses, develop a personalized study plan, strengthen your exam technique through past paper practice, and build the confidence needed to excel in your exams. Beyond improving grades, I enjoy mentoring students on study strategies, subject selection, university planning, and career choices whenever they need guidance. I believe education should prepare students not only to achieve excellent results but also to make informed decisions about their future. Outside teaching, I enjoy football, reading novels, and watching movies. I'm also the founder of Project Behtar Kal, a community initiative through which I have helped raise funds for charitable projects supporting underprivileged communities hence through it, I was able to improve the life of 80 widows and 210 orphans. Teaching Experience

Assalamualaikum everyone, hope you’re all doing well. My name is Muhammad Tahir, and I’ve been teaching O/A Level subjects to students in Pakistan and internationally for the past three years. I am currently taking on a few students for online tuitions too. I finished my A Levels from LGS JT on a 100% scholarship for two consecutive years in 2025 and I am currently pursuing an Economics and Data Science double major at LUMS. I had 10A*s in my O Levels and 2A*1A in my A Levels. Additionally, I was in the Economics Pakistan Team for the World Economics Cup in 2024. Subjects I teach: O Level: Math, Business, Economics, Accounting, Environmental Management A Level: Accounting & Economics I put a lot of emphasis on exam technique, past papers, and helping students avoid common mistakes that examiners penalize. The first two classes are completely free trial classes on any topic of the student's choice, so you can see if my teaching style is the right fit and whether the online learning model works well for you before making any commitment.
