Munazza Naseer

About Me

I am Munazza Naseer, a dedicated microbiologist and educator with a strong foundation in molecular biology and laboratory diagnostics. With an MPhil in Microbiology and a BS (Hons) in Applied Microbiology from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore, I bring a passion for scientific research and teaching. I have extensive hands-on experience in techniques such as PCR, RT-PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA/RNA extraction, and various immunoassays. Over the past few years, I’ve worked as a microbiologist in diverse high-level laboratories including BSL-3 and influenza labs, and I’ve contributed to vaccine development and quality assurance. I’ve also served as a researcher and lecturer, teaching microbiology-related subjects to undergraduate students, and leading projects focused on the molecular detection of Brucella abortus. My strengths include laboratory management, communication, and a commitment to continuous learning through workshops, seminars, and outreach activities. I’m passionate about inspiring future scientists and contributing meaningfully to the field of microbiology.

Teaching Experience

I have substantial tutoring and teaching experience at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), where I have taught a range of microbiology subjects to students in programs such as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Medical Laboratory Technology and Microbiology. My teaching portfolio includes systemic virology, bacteriology & mycology, and immunology. Through this experience, I’ve developed a strong ability to deliver complex scientific concepts in an accessible and engaging manner, fostering critical thinking and curiosity in my students. I strive to create an inclusive, collaborative classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore and ask questions. Alongside traditional lectures, I incorporate practical lab sessions, helping students build hands-on skills in alignment with theoretical knowledge. My passion for education is driven by a commitment to inspire the next generation of scientists and healthcare professionals.
