About Me

salam-o-Alaikum, I am Rabia Khanum, an experienced Urdu teacher with 14 years of teaching experience, from Class 8th up to 2nd Year (Intermediate). I hold an MA in Urdu from University of the Punjab, Lahore, and a B.Ed from Allama Iqbal Open University. I have also worked as an examiner for the Federal Board (FBISE), checking annual Urdu exam papers. I am comfortable teaching online via Zoom and Google Meet, and I am passionate about helping students build strong Urdu language and literature skills in an engaging way.

Teaching Experience

I have 14 years of classroom teaching experience in Urdu, working with students from Class 8th through 2nd Year (Intermediate level). Throughout my career, I have taught at Allied School, Margalla School, Wise School, and Sir Syed College, where I focused on building students' skills in Urdu grammar, literature, comprehension, and composition. In addition to classroom teaching, I have worked as an examiner for the Federal Board (FBISE), evaluating annual Urdu exam papers, which has given me deep insight into exam patterns and student assessment. Alongside this, I run my own website (alhamdquran.co.uk) through which I teach Quran with Tajweed to students in the UK and USA, giving me solid experience in online, one-on-one tutoring with international students. I tailor my teaching approach to each student's level, making lessons clear, structured, and easy to follow, and I am experienced in conducting online classes through Zoom
