About Me

Hi, I'm Rimsha! I'm an undergraduate physiotherapy student with a growing passion for musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. My academic journey has led me to focus deeply on spinal health. I believe physiotherapy is about more than just treating symptoms — it's about understanding the whole person, how they move, how pain affects their daily life, and how evidence-based interventions can genuinely improve quality of life. This is what drives my interest in musculoskeletal care: the balance between clinical precision and real, practical impact on patients' lives. Through my coursework and thesis research, I've been diving into comparative studies on physiotherapy interventions for sciatica, looking closely at outcomes, evidence bases, and how treatment approaches are evolving. I enjoy connecting clinical detail with plain-language understanding, since I think good physiotherapy — and good communication about it — should be accessible to everyone, not just clinicians. I communicate comfortably in both Urdu and English, which helps me connect with a wide range of people and patients. I'm excited to keep learning, growing, and eventually applying everything I've studied to help people move and live better — one patient, one case, one insight at a time.

Teaching Experience

**Tutoring Experience** Alongside my physiotherapy studies, I've spent the past year teaching young children in classes 1 to 5. This experience has helped me build patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills — qualities that translate directly into how I approach patient care and education in physiotherapy. Working with children of different learning paces taught me how to break down complex ideas into simple, digestible pieces — a skill I now bring into explaining clinical concepts in plain language. It also strengthened my ability to stay calm, encouraging, and responsive to individual needs, whether I'm guiding a child through a lesson or a patient through a rehabilitation exercises.
