About Me

i am Dr. Sumaira Kousar has a PhD in Biochemistry (Molecular). I have a vast experience in Gene expression analysis including DNA Extraction, primer designing and gene identification, cloning, Differential Display PCR, RT-PCR, DNA barcoding (Microoganisms, Plants and animals)and Bioinformatics tools as well. I have worked on Protein extraction, purification and identification techniques. Dr Kousar has conducted many national and international training workshops in Molecular and Biochemical techniques, including DNA barcoding, chromatography and electrophoresis.During her visit to USA at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, She had received training in proteomicsincluding nano-LC-TOF Mass spectrometry

Teaching Experience

I have taught many curses related to the Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology techniques, Plant Biochemistry, Environmental Biochemistry and Organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry etc. While providing commercial services to the Community, i have completed multiple research projects, therefore has expertise in different molecular techniques.
