About Me

I’m Sumiya Khan, an English graduate from Pakistan with an MPhil in English. I’m passionate about teaching and helping students build confidence in reading, writing, and speaking. I’m patient, organized, and friendly, and I enjoy making learning clear and engaging for every student. I speak Urdu natively and English at a proficient level.

Teaching Experience

I have two years of classroom teaching experience as an English Language Teacher at IIUI Schools in Dera Ghazi Khan (2022-2024), where I taught O-Level English and Novel. I planned lessons, designed assessments, and ran interactive classroom activities aligned with the curriculum. I also tracked each student’s progress, gave constructive feedback, and encouraged critical thinking and clear communication. Since 2026, I have been an approved online tutor at Knowledge Bridge, teaching O-Level English, FSc English, and English Speaking courses. I was approved after clearing the company’s teaching demo evaluation. Alongside teaching, I have supported undergraduate and postgraduate students with academic writing, research, and presentation preparation since 2024, which helps me guide students toward stronger writing and analysis.
