About Me

Hi, I am Syed Liaqat Ali Shah.  I am an ambitious and detail-oriented educator specializing in Cambridge O-Level, IGCSE, and AS/A-Level Accounting, Economics, and Business Studies. Having recently completed my A2 examinations in the May/June 2026 session, I am currently awaiting my final results. My academic journey reflects a strong mastery of the Cambridge curriculum, having achieved Straight A grades in AS-Level Accounting and Economics, a Grade C in Business Studies, and 6 A*/A grades in my O-Levels. As an incoming BS Accounting & Finance student at IoBM and an aspiring Chartered Accountant, I bridge the gap between textbook theory and real-world corporate frameworks to make learning highly intuitive and engaging for students.

Teaching Experience

I have a solid foundation in both classroom management and personalized small-group instruction within the Cambridge stream: Teaching Assistant (TA) | The City School, Jinnah Campus: Assisted senior faculty in delivering structured lessons, grading mock exams, and providing targeted academic support to O-Level students. This role gave me deep insights into Cambridge grading criteria, threshold management, and how schools execute the official curriculum. Tutor | Paradigm Academy, Hyderabad: Successfully mentored a cohort of 5 students, delivering intensive instruction in O-Level Business Studies and Accounting. I designed custom problem sets, focused heavily on past-paper testing strategies, and helped students significantly improve their conceptual clarity and exam-solving speed. Exam-Focused Methodology: Across all my tutoring experiences, my approach remains highly strategic—dissecting past papers, studying Examiner Reports to eliminate common mistakes, and training students to use precise technical keywords to secure maximum marks according to Cambridge marking schemes.
