About Me
I graduated from LUMS Business School in 2025 with a degree in Accounting & Finance and was a Dean’s Honour List holder. I am also a CPA USA Finalist, building on a strong academic foundation in Accounting, Economics and Business-related subjects. I achieved 7 A*s and 2 As in O Levels and 2 A*s and 1 A in A Levels, where I studied Accounting, Economics and Business. Over the past 4–5 years, I have taught 25+ students across different boards and levels, including private candidates and school-going students.
Teaching Experience
I have over 5 years of experience tutoring students in Accounting, Business Studies, and Economics across several boards including, Cambridge O Levels, A Levels, IGCSE, Edexcel, and Eduqas. My teaching goes beyond simply covering the syllabus. I focus on strong concept building, exam technique, and learning how to structure answers to maximise marks. Students learn how to approach different question types, understand examiner expectations, and apply concepts through regular past-paper practice. I have worked with students at different starting points, from building concepts from scratch to improving grades from D/C to A/A*. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace and provide personalised notes, practice questions, and additional resources. Lessons are conducted online through Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet, using an iPad and digital whiteboard for interactive teaching and real-time question solving. My aim is to help students understand the subject, become confident with exam questions, and achieve their target grades.

A Level Economics
Miss Umna made Economics A levels much less confusing for me, especially graphs and application questions.
A Level Business & Economics
I was a private candidate and studied A2 Business and Economics with Miss Umna after getting a C and D at AS. She made the A2 concepts much easier to understand and focused a lot on applying them in past papers. She helped me improve my concepts and paper solving skill and I ended up getting As overall.
