About Me
I am an engineer with 8 years of experience tutoring Mathematics to students from grade 4 to grade 12. I have tutored students inperson and online. My students lived in Pakistan, UK, USA and Middle East. I am currently tutoring a GCSE student who lives in the UK.
Teaching Experience
Different students require different approaches towards learning math concepts. Over the years, I have gained experience identifying such needs of students and use engineered techniques, making the subject interesting and easier to understand for the students. My engineering background has helped me transferring my knowledge of Math to my students more conceptually and efficiently, thus improving students' grades. I always try to make the subject interesting and understandable to students using various techniques including but not limited to: relating the subject to the real world; engaging students in group discussions; encouraging students gaining confidence by solving Mathematical problems on board in front of whole class; training students to think to initiate solutions to Mathematical problems thus reaching to conclusion systematically; engaging students in creative class activities like constructing three dimensional (3D) solids thus enabling students visualize cross-sections, faces, areas, volume, symmetry, etc.
I've been teaching a variety of subjects for 4 years now, with a focus primarily on English writing and communication skills as well as music theory.
