About Me

I am an English tutor and former college lecturer with an MA in English Literature, a B.Ed and teaching experience at college, school and academy level. I teach English language and literature to Matric (Classes 9 and 10), FSc (first and second year) and BA students, including grammar, essay and letter writing, comprehension and literary criticism, novel and drama. I explain each topic in simple steps, give regular practice and feedback, and prepare students for their exams. I am patient and well organized, and I work with each student at their own pace. I am based in Lahore and available for home and online tutoring.

Teaching Experience

I have 4 to 5 years of tutoring experience, both one to one at students' homes and in classes at Ilmi Academy in Dera Ismail Khan, which I did alongside my university studies. I then worked as an English Lecturer at Government Degree College No. 2, Dera Ismail Khan, from August 2020 to March 2021, teaching English to BA and FSc classes. After moving to Lahore, I taught English to Classes 9 and 10 at The Educators school from 2022 to 2023, and part time at Aspire Science & Commerce Academy, where I taught Classes 9 and 10 and FSc first and second year English. In all of these roles I planned lessons, set and checked written work, and prepared students for exams. My students learn to write clearly, understand literary texts, and answer exam questions with confidence.
