About Me

My name is Osairum Khan and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Data Science from Punjab University College of Information Technology (PUCIT), Lahore. I am in the final year of my degree with a CGPA of 3.5, which reflects my consistent academic dedication and hard work throughout my program. I have a genuine passion for teaching and a strong desire to help students understand and excel in their subjects. My teaching experience began with private home tutoring, where I worked with students ranging from Play Group to Intermediate level across a variety of subjects including Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, English, and Islamiyat. I developed customised lesson plans tailored to each student's individual learning pace and consistently achieved positive academic improvement in the students I tutored. Beyond private tutoring, I also served as a Teaching Assistant at PUCIT for Linear Algebra and Physics, where I assisted faculty in delivering sessions and helped students grasp complex concepts in a clear and approachable manner. This experience strengthened my ability to simplify difficult material and communicate effectively with learners of different skill levels. My academic background in Data Science has given me strong command over Mathematics, Statistics, Probability, Computer Science, and analytical thinking, all of which directly support my teaching capabilities. I am fluent in both English and Urdu, which allows me to explain concepts bilingually when needed. I am enthusiastic, patient, and committed to making a positive difference in every student's academic journey. I look forward to contributing meaningfully through this platform.

Teaching Experience

My tutoring experience spans multiple levels and subjects. I worked as a private home tutor in Lahore from 2023 to 2024, teaching students from Play Group to Intermediate level. I covered a wide range of subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, English, Urdu, and Islamiyat. I developed customised lesson plans for each student based on their individual learning pace, board syllabus, and academic needs. I consistently achieved positive results in terms of student confidence and exam performance. I also prepared a student specifically for IELTS, focusing on writing accuracy, reading comprehension, and grammar improvement. Additionally, I served as a Teaching Assistant at PUCIT, Lahore for Linear Algebra and Physics during 2024 to 2025. In this role I assisted faculty in delivering sessions, simplified complex technical concepts into clear and student-friendly language, and supported the grading of assignments and exam papers. These experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching style to different types of learners, maintain patience, and explain difficult concepts in simple terms, whether working with young children or university-level students.
