About Me
My name is Basit Ali. I have two years of experience teaching English Literature and Linguistics. I hold a degree in English Literature and Linguistics from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. During my teaching experience, I have developed strong skills in lesson planning, student engagement, and using technology to make learning more effective and purposeful. Now I am eager to pursue challenging academic opportunities where I can leverage my diverse skill set and experience to achieve meaningful results. My goal is to contribute to the success of a dynamic institution by applying my strengths in research, administration, teaching, and problem-solving.
Teaching Experience
Designation: English Lecturer Duration: 15th January 2021 - 18th June 2021 Institution: The Quantum College Yar Hussain, Swabi I have taught English as a subject to intermediate and BS-level students. The strength of the class varied between 50 and 60 students per class. As an English teacher, I taught book lessons, grammar, composition, communication and essential language skills. My lessons focused on fostering creativity in writing and exploring literature to deepen students’ language comprehension through engaging activities. My responsibilities also included designing and delivering lesson plans, conducting assessments and grading students, providing feedback and guidance on academic writing, facilitating discussions and debates, and mentoring and advising students.
I've been teaching a variety of subjects for 4 years now, with a focus primarily on English writing and communication skills as well as music theory.
