About Me
Hello! I’m Iqra, a passionate and dedicated student currently pursuing a degree in Bioinformatics at the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI). I'm in my third semester and deeply interested in the intersection of biology, technology, and data — exploring how computational tools can help solve real-world biological problems. I’m originally from Rawalpindi, living near the New Islamabad Airport, and have always been curious and eager to learn. My academic journey began with a strong foundation in the sciences — I completed my Hifz-e-Quran in 2019, followed by my Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2021 with a major in Biology, and my Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) in 2024 with a focus on Pre-Medical studies. Beyond academics, I recently completed a Web Development and Designing course during the 2025 summer camp. This experience not only enhanced my technical skills but also sparked an interest in front-end development and UI/UX design. I’m now actively exploring how these skills can complement my work in bioinformatics and open up interdisciplinary opportunities. I'm always eager to grow, collaborate, and contribute to meaningful projects. Whether it’s coding, designing, or decoding biological data, I believe in continuous learning and staying curious.
Teaching Experience
I teach students at home for tow years before joining university.
I've been teaching a variety of subjects for 4 years now, with a focus primarily on English writing and communication skills as well as music theory.
