About Me
I am a Computer Science undergraduate at NED University with a passion for simplifying Mathematics and Sciences. Having successfully navigated both the competitive entrance systems and advanced A-Level curricula, I bring a high level of analytical skill to my teaching. I specialize in mentoring students for Matric (BSEK) and O/A-Levels (CAIE). While my background is in engineering and tech, my teaching style is rooted in 'concept-mapping'—helping students understand the why behind the formula. I have experience providing one-on-one academic support in A-Level Math and Physics, focusing on clarity, logic, and exam-taking strategy.
Teaching Experience
I have extensive informal experience in academic mentoring, specifically focusing on advanced Mathematics and Physics for A-Level and O-Level students. Most recently, I successfully coached a student through the A-Level curriculum, simplifying complex calculus and mechanics problems into easy-to-understand logical steps. As a current Computer Science student at NED University, I have mastered the technical and analytical skills required to bridge the gap between textbook theory and practical application. My experience includes: Peer-to-Peer Mentoring: Explaining advanced engineering mathematics and logic to fellow students. Customized Lesson Planning: Designing personalized practice sets based on O/A-Level past paper trends. Entrance Test Preparation: Leveraging my own success in competitive university entrance exams to guide students in time management and MCQ strategies. I focus on a student-centric approach, ensuring that the learner doesn't just memorize formulas but understands the underlying concepts—a method that has consistently led to improved grades and academic confidence.
I've been teaching a variety of subjects for 4 years now, with a focus primarily on English writing and communication skills as well as music theory.
