About Me

I am an experienced and passionate educator with over a decade of teaching and curriculum development experience, specializing in international education and online learning. As a certified IB practitioner and TESOL-certified teacher, I have worked extensively with diverse learners, creating engaging, inquiry-based lessons that promote critical thinking and student-centered learning. Over the years, I have taught across primary and middle years, and more recently, I have been actively involved in online teaching, delivering interactive lessons using platforms such as Zoom, Google Classroom, and other digital tools. I enjoy integrating technology into my teaching, using tools like Nearpod and Kahoot to make learning more engaging and effective for students. In addition to teaching, I bring strong experience in curriculum design and educational leadership, having served as an IB PYP Coordinator where I led instructional planning, teacher training, and curriculum development. I am deeply committed to creating meaningful learning experiences and supporting students not only academically but also in building confidence and independent learning skills. I am now looking forward to contributing to an online school environment where I can continue to inspire learners, adapt innovative teaching strategies, and support students in achieving their full potential.

Teaching Experience

I have over ten years of teaching experience, working with students across primary and middle years in both classroom and online settings. In my recent role as an online facilitator, I have taught Grades 4–8 using platforms like Zoom and Google Classroom, creating interactive lessons with tools such as Nearpod and Kahoot to keep students engaged. My approach focuses on making learning clear, engaging, and student-centered while supporting different learning needs. I aim to build students’ confidence, encourage critical thinking, and help them become independent learners.
