About Me

Hello! My name is Riaz Karim, and I am the Founder and Chemistry Teacher at DAWN Coaching Centre, Danyore Gilgit. With nearly six years of experience in teaching secondary-level Chemistry, I have dedicated my career to making science education more engaging, practical, and accessible to students. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Karakoram International University, Gilgit, and have participated in the 1st International Conference on the Chemistry of Medicinal Plants. My professional journey blends teaching with continuous learning — I’m also certified in Google Data Analytics, which has strengthened my analytical and research abilities. At DAWN, I lead a team of educators committed to fostering conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and hands-on learning. I also provide online tutoring, helping students worldwide develop a deeper appreciation for Chemistry through personalized lessons and interactive methods. Beyond academics, I actively engage in environmental education and community work with organizations like WWF-Pakistan and the Pakistan Red Crescent Society. I’m fluent in English and Urdu, with basic knowledge of German and Chinese, and in my free time, I enjoy reading, music (rubab playing), and sports. My mission as an educator is to inspire curiosity, empower learners, and contribute to a culture of scientific understanding and sustainability.

Teaching Experience

I have nearly six years of tutoring experience in Chemistry, both in-person and online. I began my teaching journey in 2019, and over the years, I have taught a wide range of students at the secondary and higher secondary levels. As the Founder and Chemistry Teacher at DAWN Coaching Centre in Danyore Gilgit, I have designed and delivered lessons that make complex scientific concepts clear, engaging, and relatable. My focus is always on conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and practical application — helping students connect Chemistry to real-world examples and develop critical thinking skills. In addition to classroom teaching, I also work as an online tutor, where I’ve adapted my methods to suit digital learning platforms. I use visual aids, simulations, and interactive exercises to maintain student engagement and make remote learning effective. My students have consistently improved in academic performance and developed a stronger interest in Chemistry. I believe that every learner has unique potential, and my goal as a tutor is to nurture curiosity, build confidence, and make learning a rewarding experience.
