Saba Khaliq
About Me
Hi, I'm Saba, internationally published writer and visiting faculty at International Islamic University. I have a teaching experience of 4 years, including my experience with school, college and undergraduate students. My areas of expertise encompass grammar essentials, and creative and academic writing skills. I have also been teaching classics, literary criticism and theory, modern poetry and modern novel to undergraduates for more than 2 years now. Apart from teaching, I enjoy writing poems and short stories, and occasionally posting on Instagram @sabaabdulkhaliq_. My poems can be found in The Brussels Review, Fahmidan Journal, The Lamp Literary Journal, Aster Lit, and Ink, Sweat & Tears. Together, we can work on improving your grammatical concepts, written expression, literary skills and reading comprehension.
Teaching Experience
I have been tutoring school and undergraduate students for more than 7 years now. I began as a volunteer tutor for underprivileged kids and helped them secure admissions in government and private schools in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Pakistan. I have also started conducting workshops on grammar essentials and academic writing skills this year to help students of English language and literature.
I've been teaching a variety of subjects for 4 years now, with a focus primarily on English writing and communication skills as well as music theory.
