Saima Nazeer
About Me
I am Saima Nazeer from Pakistan, currently serving as a Visiting Lecturer at Foundation University, Islamabad, since 2021. With a strong academic background and a deep interest in teaching and research, I have been actively engaged in the education sector, primarily focusing on the subjects of Economics and Entrepreneurship. At Foundation University, I have had the opportunity to design and deliver undergraduate-level courses that aim to build both theoretical understanding and practical insights among students. My teaching philosophy emphasizes clarity, relevance, and engagement. I encourage critical thinking and real-world application of concepts, especially in the field of Entrepreneurship, where innovation and practical knowledge are essential. I hold an MPhil in Development Studies from the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), and an MSc in Economics. My academic training and professional experience have enabled me to guide students in understanding complex economic issues and entrepreneurial strategies that are especially relevant to the context of developing countries like Pakistan. In addition to teaching, I have worked as a research writer at ARK Techno Solutions, where I contributed to academic and policy-oriented projects. This role allowed me to further strengthen my analytical and writing skills, which I now integrate into my teaching practices to help students improve their academic writing and research abilities. My passion lies in contributing to the intellectual and professional growth of students, and in promoting entrepreneurship as a viable path to economic empowerment and innovation in Pakistan.
