About Me

I am an enthusiastic learner and committed worker who thrives on completing tasks ahead of schedule. Effective time management and a willingness to take risks are among my strengths, while expecting too much from team members stands as a weakness. I have a penchant for exploring new avenues, whether through reading, cooking, or discovering new places to visit. This innate curiosity drives me to observe and absorb new experiences wherever I go.

Teaching Experience

My journey as an educator began in 2004, fresh out of completing my A levels. Recognizing my passion for teaching early on, I pursued it alongside my studies. The pivotal point came in 2006 when I joined Saint Michaels Convent school as a Pakistan Studies teacher, where I garnered notable achievements over six years, including a prominent O level distinction in 2009. Subsequently, I ventured into teaching O Level World History at Foundation Public School, achieving distinctions with my students from the outset, notably in 2017. In 2019, a significant shift occurred as I embraced the role of teaching IB World History and Pakistan Studies to IGCSE students at The International School Karachi, securing another distinction. My journey then led me to Beaconhouse Discovery Center, where I immersed myself in teaching Psychology and coordinating Extended Essays, reveling in the dynamic interaction it fostered between students and myself. My affinity for the subject and the enriching learning experiences it offers fuel my dedication to teaching. Currently, I serve as the Diploma Programme Coordinator at Ilmesters Academy, continuing to inspire and guide students in Psychology while overseeing the Extended Essay program. This is my story as an educator, driven by a profound passion for learning and teaching.
