About Me
Hey there! I'm from Lahore and am currently in my last year of Bachelors (Hons.) in Accounting and Finance at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). During the day, you’ll find me working on crunching numbers. But by night, I'm a book lover, writer, and occasional baker. I love combining stories with numbers, and I am always exploring new horizons!
Teaching Experience
I taught Business Studies at A-levels to a private student, guiding them through the entire syllabus and numerous past papers. This comprehensive approach ensured they were well-prepared and confident in their understanding and application of the subject matter. Mostly, my classes are conducted via Zoom premium to ensure no disruption during class. I start by having a conversation with the student to gauge their current level and identify any specific challenges they’re facing. Building a good rapport is crucial so they feel comfortable sharing their difficulties. I use real-life examples from everyday situations to make concepts more relatable. My collaborative approach moves through material at a pace that suits the student, pausing to review as needed. By integrating their personal experiences into the learning process, students grasp concepts more effectively and see their practical relevance, enhancing motivation and success. If needed, I can arrange an iPad with a pencil to explain difficult topics visually.
I've been teaching a variety of subjects for 4 years now, with a focus primarily on English writing and communication skills as well as music theory.
