About Me
I am a qualified online Biology tutor with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and currently pursuing an MSc in Bioinformatics at NUST, maintaining a CGPA of 3.79/4.00. My core teaching areas include molecular genetics, physiology, cell biology, and biostatistics, with specialization in medical entrance exam preparation such as MDCAT. I have worked as a Marker and content curator for TELUS International (Canada), where I developed and evaluated basic medical science questions, providing clear, factual, and argument-based explanations—further sharpening my ability to design exam-aligned, high-quality learning material. I am particularly interested in helping students excel in A-Level, IGCSE, and GCSE Biology, focusing on the UK curriculum. My teaching approach is concept-focused, structured, and tailored to the individual, ensuring students build both strong academic foundations and confidence. I offer online-only tutoring, aligned with UK time zones (GMT+1), and a free trial lesson is available on request.
Teaching Experience
I have 1 year of dedicated experience tutoring students for MDCAT and other medical entrance exams through my online platform. I run a YouTube channel with over 1,000 subscribers, where I create targeted content including MCQ-solving tutorials, concise concept videos, memory techniques, and exam strategies designed specifically for pre-medical students. In addition, I manage a Facebook academic group with over 2,000 members, where I share handwritten notes, mnemonics, and practice resources to support students preparing for competitive medical exams. My tutoring approach is concept-focused, exam-oriented, and personalized, helping students improve performance and confidence in high-stakes testing environments.
