About Me

Journey of my life commenced with my quest for knowledge and still continues. Being son of a tea stall holder could have created lots of problems for me. But, I was fortunate to be born in a family in which education is highly appreciated. The environment inculcated the love for knowledge and education into me. Fortunately, I was blessed with motivating and hardworking teachers who developed my interest for Mathematics. I have done my Matriculation from Ali Trust College, Islamabad. During this period I came by well qualified teacher named Faisal Iqbal. His teaching methodology, his character and his personality inspired me a lot. He used to dictate us problems and asked us to develop formulas. At that time I developed two formulas which are given below. To Find Sum for even power in a series: (n/2)(n/2+1) (x-1) “N” is the total number of terms in a series. “X” is the number whose series is given. Find the sum of natural consecutive natural numbers. (1 * middle number) + (middle number * The Last number) Find the sum of first 100 natural numbers: (1*50) + (50*100) = 5050 The time that I spent with my teachers was very much influential for me. It was due to their company that I went for International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest (IKMC) and secured sixth (6th) position in Islamabad. After my matriculation, I took tuitions of Mathematics and I use to teach at primary school of my village during vacations. The time I spend with children is very beneficial for me. I learn lot from their small but genius questions. After completion of my Intermediate, I got admission in Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Now I am enrolled in Bsc. Hons Management Sciences. The environment of LUMS invokes us to learn. Allah is so much benevolent to me that He created lots of opportunities for me. I am now part of LUMS Student Math Society (LSMS), Amnesty LUMS Chapter and Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineering (IEEE) LUMS Chapter. Moreover, I am working as a Development Consultant at LUMS Consultancy Group. As a member of these societies, I have learnt that how we can apply the concepts of Mathematics in our routine work and in different fields of science especially in engineering like Robotics. Amnesty encourages me to take steps for the welfare and betterment of people who are deprived of their basic needs. Besides all these curricular and extra-curricular activities there are many other activities that keep me motivated, determined, calm and cool. My hobbies include “Reading” and “Playing Table Tennis.” I have been a Runner-up at inter-College Table Tennis Tournament held by Multan Board in 2014. After completion of my bachelors, I am aspiring to pursue my MBA from Harvard. Moreover, now a days I am working on two social projects which will be revealed soon.

Teaching Experience

I have been teaching my friends for last 3 years. Moreover, my professional tutoring career began in the second semester at LUMS. I have been teaching a student of 6th Grade at Beacon House for last 5 months. It has been an amazing experience for me because I was teaching for the first time. In addition to that, she improved her marks percentage from 85% to 92% that was the biggest achievement of mine.
