About Me

Hi, my name is Zainab and I am a junior majoring in Economics and Political Sciences at LUMS. I am an inquisitive individual who strives for opportunities that not only enhance my skill set but also pave the way to benefit the overall society.The concept of self reliance has motivated me since I was a teenager. I have been teaching O & A level economics to candidates appearing for the CAIE’s since the past 4 years. Lastly, I am a hardworking and steadfast individual who sets goals and works tirelessly to achieve them.

Teaching Experience

My tutoring experiences have been great, it provided me with immense confidence and polished my communication skills too. I have taught at the Mindconcept, and Tutor and Co. over the years. Both of the them are online platforms, after covid, rising inflation led to a lot of students opting for online classes. To retain the interest of students during the time slot of the classes, I would resort to playing motivational Ted talks, jazz music, and show memes to break the monotony sitting behind screens. My students think of me as a friend, and that is the key to success. Although tutoring has its challenges( making sure students are punctual, they do not misbehave in class, submit their homework on time), with unwavering dedication and effort I always manage to yield good results from my students!
