About Me
As a dedicated physiotherapy educator with years of clinical experience, my passion lies in bridging the gap between theory and practice to prepare the next generation of skilled physiotherapists. With a comprehensive background in rehabilitation, musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular physiotherapy, I bring real-world insights into the classroom, helping students understand not only the scientific foundations but also the practical applications of physiotherapy techniques. My teaching approach emphasizes critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based practice, encouraging students to develop a strong sense of professional ethics and patient-centered care. I believe in creating an interactive learning environment where students are encouraged to actively engage with course material, ask questions, and apply their knowledge in practical settings. I utilize a combination of lectures, hands-on practice, case studies, and problem-solving scenarios to ensure that students can translate their learning into real-life clinical situations. Additionally, I focus on instilling a strong foundation of communication skills, empathy, and cultural competence, which are essential for building trust and rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds. As a lifelong learner myself, I am committed to staying updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy research and practice, ensuring that my teaching is always relevant and aligned with current trends in healthcare. Ultimately, my goal as a physiotherapy educator is to inspire students to not only become competent clinicians but also compassionate caregivers who contribute positively to the health and well-being of their communities.
