About Me
I am an interdisciplinary visual artist, art educator, and researcher with over 18 years of professional experience in the field of fine arts. I hold an MA in Art & Education from Beaconhouse National University, as well as an MFA and BFA in Painting from the University of the Punjab. My creative practice is diverse, specializing in oil and acrylic painting, mural art, and interdisciplinary practices that bridge manual and digital media. Beyond the studio, I am a published author and an active participant in the international art community, having showcased my work in exhibitions across Italy, Turkey, and the USA.
Teaching Experience
Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of age groups, from primary students to university undergraduates. At the school level, I have spent many years at Lahore Grammar School and The City School, where I designed curricula for Grade 6 through O Levels and trained students for prestigious national competitions like ICATS and Art Beat. My experience also extends to higher education, where I served as an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Art & Culture and a Lecturer at the University of Home Economics, supervising studio-based research and thesis projects. Additionally, I have a strong background in teacher training and leading collaborative public art projects, such as large-scale murals involving students of all levels.
I've been teaching a variety of subjects for 4 years now, with a focus primarily on English writing and communication skills as well as music theory.
